I live in a 3 bedroom house, Scottish Gas say I'm using 7,700 units of electricity per year.
This seems an awful lot.
We had a new meter installed last Christmas,could it be that its fulty?

Don't know about Scottish gas, but you should compare last year to current and review each month in between and you can get you average that way. If you still feel it is questionable, the meter should belong to them and you should ask them to check it for calibration. Just keep in mind it is always possible your old one might of erred in your favor.

That's only averaging at 21Kwh per day, which sounds ok to me, IF you have electric cooker and water heating, If you have space heating as well it seems too little @ £77.00 per month av. I pay £60.00 per month for lighting, oven only and other small appliances/ TV etc. (Gas hob and CH)
