for years district attorneys would try to remain nonpolitical as possible because they are supposed to represent everyone's interests. The North Carolina DA is a good example of a camera whore who panders to special interests and tries to do the thing that will best benefit him. His handling of this case is probably the worst case of public, prosecutorial misconduct ever seen in the US. This was a nothing case with no evidence and he decided that it would be his signature case and he would become a national celeb. I wonder what recourse the people who have been damaged by his greedy, self serving conduct have in regaining their reputations and futures. The stripper's allegation has never had any credence whatsover and the whole thing should have been over certainly when the DNA did not come back positive. What a mess.

He's incompetent. He knew last Spring that the DNA found on the "victim" wasn't from the Duke players. He claims he disclosed this at the time he found out. Give me a break. Not to mention that the "victim" has told 50 versions of the story. I hope he gets disbarred.

Just a typical political knucklehead that used a current event to get himself elected. No different than a lot of the political dirt bags currently in Congress except this time around his flapping gums actually might make him go away.
