So i am a teenager girl. I am really sorry that i can't share this with MY parents..because its not about me, its about my friend. My friend is from a ..you know sort of family which does not approve BF/GFs. But she has a relationship with a boy. Nobody in her family knows. Last week she called me, she was crying, she told me that she is not allowed to talk to anyone else but me, she is not even allowed to go to her coaching classes (where she meets her bf). She told me that she loves the boy and can't live without him. what would you advice me to do? I want to see her happy..she is happy with that boy but from her family's point of view, its wrong. We are 16 yrs old.

Tell her she is going to have to stick it out. Life sometimes sucks and yeah our parents might be a little strict on us, but they have a right to. She doesn't have much of a choice then to ride the boat. At this time she's 16 years old which is not far from 18. It will be okay, and if this guy really cares about her he will wait. When your young...I know you get tired of hearing this...you take things very seriously especially when it comes to love. You would do anything for that one person because you believe in love. But when you get older you pretty much see the big picture, and won't worry or hardly cry because you 've been through so much crap that you know how the game is played. I'm telling you this from experience. My father did not let me even talk on the phone with my bf and I was 16 too! Even when I had a serious bf at the age of 18 they didn't agree with it. I couldn't have a normal life, until I moved out and went to college. Now, I get along with them great. She will be okay. Tell her not to argue with her parents because that won't help. Her time will come when she's 18 and she can make her own decisions(as long as she's not living under their roof that is).
