In my dream last night I looked into the mirror and my left eye looked mottled… I can’t think of a better word than that. The color in my eyes had a slightly smeared look with the white of my eye and the black of my pupil (my eye color is green naturally, in my dream is was a very dark, clear, bluish green)
If that wasn’t enough, the next part of my dream was that I wound up in bed with my roommate. Partially dressed, I just kinda found myself there in his bed. He reached out me, and I didn’t know how I got there, but it was realistic enough for me to think that I must have slept-walked in there. I tried to explain it, but it felt like I was just making excuses, like I really did want to be in there, but I still felt flustered about being there… I kept looking around, but when I looked away from him I couldn’t see clearly, just shadowy translucent pictures of my room, like the wall that separates his bedroom and mine was disappearing. So there I was with him in his bed… and one can surmise what else happened….
So what does it mean?

Seeing your own eyes in a mirror in a dream is indicative of the state of your self-knowledge. The fact that your left eye is not clear would seem to mean that your subconscious is telling you that your rationalizations about something are inaccurate - that your intuitive knowledge of self is more to be trusted. I'd say that you are having a conflict between what your rational brain tells you and what your intuitive sense says about a situation.

Since the dream next took you into the bed of your roommate, it would be a good guess that this is the situation about which you have conflicts between what your rational brain says about it, and what your intuitive sense says.

I can offer no advice about this, only tell you what I think your subconscious is telling you about yourself. And it would seem to be telling you that suppressed or unacknowledged thoughts or feelings are breaking through for you, and that you have an deep conflict about those thoughts or feelings.

The dissolving of the walls between your "personal spaces" looks to be a very clear message that you want more intimacy with your roommate, substantiated by the lack of focus when you look away from him.

One interesting thing to note is that in the dream, you did not actively seek him out, you just found yourself in his bed. It "just happened". The passive nature of that event could mean that you are seeking ways to justify a change in your relationship to your skeptical right brain, or it could be a way of your subconscious telling you that this is, according to it, inevitable.

I'd say that you need to look at the internal conflict you have about this situation; take a good honest look at your thoughts and feelings about changing this relationship.

Your dream doesn't necessarily indicate that you lust after you roommate. Sex is very complicated and is often used in dreams to mean different things.

For one thing, sex is often overlayed by protection and/or violation. If, in the dream, you felt unable to escape from your roommate's bed, then you may be feeling a sense of violation. Perhaps your roommate is infringing on your personal space or becoming too talkative and you feel trapped. On the other hand, if you felt happier in your roommate's bed than alone in your own, you may be feeling a sense of protection from your roommate - the two of you may be becoming closer friends or you may trust him more than you did when you first moved in.

Based on the other tenants of the dream, I am leaning more towards the former interpretation: Violation. One of your eyes was murky and clouded, indicating your confusion with a current aspect of your life. When you later found yourself in bed with your roommate, you were partially dressed, indicating that you did not want to be there, but rather had felt forced to come. You also mentioned that the wall separating your room was translucent, which indicates that the physical boundaries in your life are blurring and that you aren't comfortable with that.

Without further knowledge, I would conjecture that your roommate is infringing upon you in someway. Probably nothing serious - I suspect your "violation" is as simple as him using your stuff without asking or letting his things spill over into your personal space. If his behavior bothered you more, I think the sexual experience in the dream would have evoked more fear than frustration at being there in his bed.

Sex is a common theme in dreams because it is our most primal act and can tell us what frightens us and what makes us feel safe. Unless you have overt romantic fantasies during the day about your roommate, I wouldn't assume that you desire him.

Good luck.

The second part of your dream? I hope it was a dream. Do you trust your roommate completly? Yes? Good. I hope he did not put something in your drink or food. So if a dream i think you have the answer to that one.
The first part of your dream has to do with the 2 days before. What you think alot about daily and do daily will come into your dreams. Think hard now. Did you have a bad moment with make-up? Do wear eye-wear? (glasses)? Did you watch something on t.v. that had to do with the eyes and it bothered you? Did you see some exciting Xmas lights of differant colours? Are you concerned about your eyes or someone else's.
Take care and have a nice day.

Sounds like you may want to sleep with your roommate, which is usually not a good idea unless it becomes a permanent situation. The cloudy eyes may indicate you inability to see the reality of this situation, either good or bad....and the room disappearing may may have something to do with you or your roommate having to leave if you go through with this tryst. Just my opinion, good luck.

WOW!! That's one hell of a dream. Maybe your are attracted to your roommate and your feelings manifested themselves thru your dreams. Maybe the blurred vision part symbolized the fact that you didn't want to see yourself with the roommate but your heart is really telling you that you want to be with him, Hence you finding yourself in his bed and him reaching out to you!!!

I'm no psychologist but how's that for a stab it?

Your dream has scared the wits out of me. I don't want to assume, but how is your health. You seem to be asking a significant question here in this category, but heart problems! You wound up in a bed of medical experts that are trying to bring you back to the real world.

i think the part with the eye might have something to do with beauty, and the second part shows you have strong feeling for your roommate.
