this question is asked to ppl who have BlackIce protection (a firewall). the program stops functioning all of a sudden and i don't know what to do. i make it function again but it stops again.
and secondly-is there an option to automatically block all intruders? thank you.

Black ice was good. But it is a bit sensitive - alarms go off on every ping or port scan! I'd just turn on the Windows firewall if you have XP and dump black ice. It's a bit dated now.

you can uninstall the program if you have problems with it. You can use the built in firewall in windowsXP, or use another free firewall software like zonealarm,
