I dont think that all americans are corrupt, but some individuals and corporations certainly are. The UN conducts studies on corruption which rank countries from least to most corrupt. From what I remember the USA did not fare well when compared to other western countries. Corruption in the USA was largely attributed to the growing gap between rich and poor in the United States (which is large compared to other western nations).

Don't understand the rest of your question but yes right now many Americans in high places are corrupt. Halliburton is one company making tons of money off this war and it belongs to the Chaney family. But the Bush family has owned lots of oil companys for generations and they are not going broke either.

How can anyone give a blanket answer? Some may be corrupt, but I think most people are basically honest.

there are like 300 million people in the USA.

Out of those you have some corrupt ones and some of those corrupt ones are rich.

That said, the answer to your blanket statement is "no".
