It is all the way the person was brought up. If the person was always pampered since childhood, and had never make him / her responsible for his / her mistake or had never gave him / her a task to handle and take responsibility, most likely he / she will grow up as a person who takes things very lightly. As such, he / she becomes irresponsible or couldn't care less. Taking responsibility needs a lot of courage and wisdom.
