That's funny stuff. It would be funnier if it wasn't so damn depressing.
I have to agree that very little his PR people do is by accident. As much as I hate to say it, the republic party are masters at propoganda/spin. That's how they ALMOST won two presidential elections. (That was a joke.) They have been masters at it since the Clinton era, and they learned it all from the Reagan era. They have been practicing this sort of spin for a long time. I will never believe for a second it was an accident.
To Soar, shame on you for asking the question "Is it really such a big deal?" Shame shame. #1 When his spin doctors discovered it wasn't such a bright idea, they blamed it on the troops. That's right, the same troops he loves to glorify, as if to say they were the stupid ones. #2 Do you watch the news long enough to notice the number of soldiers who have died since "Mission Accomplished"? Do you realize he said "Mission Accomplished" and then proceeded to spread disaster in Iraq? Yes, young man, its a VERY big deal.
We have failed foreign policy and 3,000 soldiers have died. With a husband who served 18 months in Iraq, it pains me to see you ask that question. Wake up!

The mission was accomplished...Saddam was removed from power and Baghdad was taken.
You Bush bashers want "Mission Accomplished" to mean "World Peace Achieved," but that's not what the banner was about. Sorry.

My heavens, I on no account have been flashed, yet I did by probability flash some human beings as quickly as. i grew to become into interior the well being center a while back and desperate to take a stoll to the merchandising section. properly, I wasn't thinking approximately what i grew to become into donning and, permit's merely say that those well being center robes do no longer go away plenty to the mind's eye on the backside. The nurse got here up from at the back of me and positioned a blanket over my shoulders . . . i grew to become into thinking why it grew to become right into slightly drafty back there!

Bush didn't unfurl "Mission Accoplished" that was done a general.
Guess what the Mission they were refering to was removing saddam from power.
You should learn the term context and getting the back ground correct.

President Bush did not put up or order the display of the "Mission Accomplished" banner. Is it really such a big deal?

I don't think that was his.
I remember hearing that it was the idea of the people on the aircraft carrier, and for all intents and purposes their mission WAS accomplished.
I am a "liberal" by the way, but I think this is an unfair criticism of Bush.
