In the old days one would go to the newsagents, find the one he wants. In it, it will have a subscription form, fill it in + a cheque and send it off.
In the new world, if the magazine has a website try looking for it on-line and I am sure it will have an on-line subscription form.

On the internet, do a search for the magazine you want,
log on and subscribe in your uncles name.
I assume you have an understanding of Italian.
