1. I am disabled and get medicaid, so all of your bull about welfare is just that bull. I worked up until last year when my co-driver ran over me and now I can't. I paid into the fund and I feel I have the right to be helped by it now.

2. Politicians think that we should have to pay them for the rest of their lives. they get free medical care, dental care. and then want to tell me that I can't have dental care on medicaid I think if they want to be a lifer then they should have to do it with out any fringe benefits.

There is no way to get off welfare .As soon as you go to work you lose the benefits . You almost have to become homeless get a job live in a shelter have habitat build you a home and then you are off welfare .Takes about 3 years to do . Good luck getting people to do that .
SO section 8 pays rent to rich land owners and food stamps get traded for drugs and cash to by booze and that is all these people want anyhow .
It would be easier to have prisoners make booze and grow food and give it to these people then the system we have now .
So many hands are in the pot getting rich from welfare it astonishes the imagination .
Public housing needs administrators ,maintenance, Insurance ,Security patrols , new construction ,office space and so much more .
The beast is feeding off the program at this point and it will not end .
I can not blame the poor people on it who have lost hope and resign themselves to that lifestyle .
Without a clear path out of poverty to home ownership without strict oversight that controls the people not allowing them to make any choices except for what food to eat it is no wonder they are all so fat .
These people are turned into criminals due to the system that is suppose to help them .
The weak are preyed upon by the strong in these communities little policing is done because all they can do is fill the jails in a week and 1000 more take the place of those arrested and it starts all over again .

Politicians choose what they do and hundreds of options are open to them .
Welfare only has 10 or so options to pick from and none of them leave recipients with any dignity or choice .

I think you mean "career politicians" or career welfare "participants". They're both the same but the difference is that after a certain amount of time people are thrown off welfare; welfare participants are also eligible for training so they can do something useful with their lives. Politicians don't need that because, no matter how poor they are when they get elected they all come out with a fat bank accounts.

I say both because they both drain our tax money. A career politician, I believe is more concerned with their "status" rather than the will of the people. The career welfare recipient has grown dependent on the government and has lost the will to succeed through hard work. Both are burdens to society and are a product of each others incompetency

Let's see neither one has a real job.

They are both hideous drains on society.

They both lie and cheat to keep the money rolling in.

Tough choice, but I would have to go with the career politicians being worse because they can end the other and they choose not to do so.

I Can't decide which is worse; The people who use the welfare to make a living, or the politians who make it possible for some individuals to abuse our welfare system. I guess I would have to say it the polticians, they also get rich while not fulfilling thier obligation to the majority of our people.

Wow, that's a tough one.
Both are a drain on my money (which really isn't that much.).
In all honesty, I'd have to say the career welfare participant, but ONLY because at least the politician has a job.

I would have to go with career welfare recipients. They are the leeches of society. Career politicians are the way they are only because the career welfare recipients keep voting them back in and a lot of people are too lazy or don't care enough to vote for change.
