The link I've posted here will not only get you to government mileage reimbursement, but it will also allow you to see what the per diem rates are for reimbursement of traveling expenses (food, hotel)

http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?contentId=17943&programPage=%2Fep%2Fprogram%2FgsaBasic.jsp&channelId=-15943&ooid=16365&pageTypeId=8203&P=MTT&programId=9704&contentType=GSA_BASIC

This second link actually directs you to where the mileage reimbursement is: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?programId=9299&channelId=-13224&ooid=10359&contentId=9646&pageTypeId=8203&contentType=GSA_BASIC&programPage=%2Fep%2Fprogram%2FgsaBasic.jsp&P=MTT

The current rate for 2007 is $.485 per mile, though I'm still looking at the GSA site for this proof. I know 2006 is posted at $.445 per mile
