When they are overtasked with programs that take up resources and memory. Items that fill the system tray use memory even when they aren't working on anything. Another reason could be corruption of the system files. At some point, you may have to add memory or reinstall your OS if the slowness become intolerable.

it depends on the computer PCs tend to be less wearing than macs. It also helps speed if you shut down your computer regularly.

The computer slows down also when too many programs are running 'cos it is using up CPU and RAM. so if you want a faster computer you could get more of either of these

your PC will only slow down if your PC have viruse in it so why don't you use Norton Anti Virus software or MCaffe software or you can defragment your PC to make spaces it can make your PC fast.Or maybe sometimes if computer have internet they sometimes becomes slow for connection.Or there is also one more option which is maybe your PC dosen't have higher speed like MHz or GHz in your PC so if it dosen't have higher speed ir if its a problem for which your PC is slowing then you can change or upgrade your PC then you can get your PC faster.
