I agree with you. Prissy teacher, hoodlum school, turns em around and everyone loves everyone else. Hurrah. anyone feel like singing Gangsta's Paradise???

LOL I thought this EXACT SAME THING when I saw the preview. I even leaned over to my GF and said "whoa, it's Dangerous Minds 2." This is lame. I'm getting tired of these stupid movies about a white teacher going into the "ethnic schools" and "giving the kids everybody forgot about...one more chance" eff those kids, eff the teacher and eff the stupid production houses that make those sorry *** movies!

Yes. I was thinking the same thing when I saw the commercial for it. I think the only thing that this film might have going for it is a 2-time Academy Award winner in Hilary Swank. Don't think it will be enough though to pull the film out of its nosedive into "tough rebel teacher fights for down-and-out kids and wins" cinema formula hell.
