the reason i am asking my wife come's behind me an finds out were i been an then i get the t hird degree so i want to know were she goes an find out were i been.while i am on the internet.

To see sites that you have visited in IE 6 or 7. Just click on History,(usually a clock sign) You can set the days of history by going to tools>internet options.
Below is where you can set how long the history list which you want to keep. You can also clear them as well.

As for firefox 2.0, click history at top toolbar then choose show in side bar. Or you can press ctrl+H
You will see the side bar of your history of sites you have visited. To delete them just go to tools, then clear private data. and click clear all.

On your toolbar at the top is a clock with a green arrow in an anti-clockwise direction.

You can view the entire history of your browsing by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the address bar.

You click on the down arrow key at the end of the address line.
