I know that pain well. Last year my wife and I lost some friends, and the reasons they gave us were shallow and didn't make sense. We are still hurting over the loss, but you have to move on. If it helps, write that friend a letter and get all that angst and anxiety out of your system - even if you don't send the letter, you will feel better and you'll have all your feelings out in the open for you to read and understand. Losing a friend is just as painful as losing a family member because they are the family that you choose to have in your life. Give it some time, maybe they will will feel a loss as well and come back. If not, at least you will have come to terms with your loss. I wish you all the best.

Losing a friend due to faults of our own can be the worst thing ever, but believe me it's not as bad as losing a close relative or friend forever, as you cannot make peace with them properly and talk about how silly you've been etcetera. So count yourself lucky that that friend is still with you and even if they weren't they'd be in your heart forever because many people walk in and out of our lives, but only true friends leave footprints in our hearts!

losing friends is hard but at times it may be the best. depending on the situation, it may be time to move on for both you.
i have had this happen often enough to me. my friends were stalemated and beginning to refuse to view things in different ways.
my hardest experience in losing a friend is by death. this experience takes a toll because you just can't seem to except death as being final.
hang there and remember when you shut the door, the Creator will open a window for you.

Ask for forgiveness, may you can become close friends again. Personally, i think friends come and go in your life as a lesson to you. Friends come and go, but family is always there.

well im sorry u lost ur friend, my parents are divorced and 2yrs ago i was living with my dad and i loved it with him, he had a lovely new wife who loved me like her own child, she had one child hu i loved so dearly like my own sibling, i had a great social life, two best great friends, a boyfriend, i used to go to this great church where i was in the choir, it was fun, we had these close family friends who i used love visiting them on sundays, then my mum came and took me away from all that, she tricked me saying that we were going on a holiday, but i never came back to them, i didn't even go on the holiday, it was madeup, it was so painful having my life literally pulled away from me.
