Did you not see "THE HOGFATHER" over christmas it explained it all in there, the tooth fairy was the original boogey man but changed and became the tooth fairy cos if you have a peice of some ones toe nail, teeth and something else I can`t remember you can control them (explains hairdressers fees any way) so the toothfairy keeps em all safe and out of harms way.

The tooth fairy is a myth -_- parents made it up so kids won't be so afraid of losing their teeth, because some kids don't like looking different from when they were normal.
Last time I heard, she flew into a plane. =)

She collects old teeth to make little boys and girls feel special. She leaves a few dollars under the pillow to show a great accomplishment in a young childs life.
