I've put some double adhesive tapes on my car's dashboard now I want to remove them. Any ideas on how to "clean" it? Thanks!

look for a product called "Goo Gone" it is a citrus based natural solvent that removes sticky messes from things that you don't want sticky. peel off as much of the tape as you can get off then squirt a little of the Goo Gone on the remainder, let it soak for a few seconds, and then rub with a clean dry cloth. If needed repeat until all the sticky mess is gone. DO NOT use any petroleum based products (gas, kerosene, naptha, mineral spirits, alcohol)on your dash because it may damage the finish. Goo Gone is citrus based (smells like oranges) and will not damage the finish. good luck.

you can find Goo Gone in the auto parts or cleaning materials section of most stores

Goof Off 2 , don't use 1 because it will melt the dash but 2 will do it perfectly.

The greatest cleaner for anything ever invented is automatic dishwashing soap and warm water. Cleans anything.
