What a great name! I was at an exhibition (wastewater, pumps and pipes - but that's not important right now) and I bloke came up to my stand with his namebadge declaring "Michael Hunt"! I assumed he was taking the p1ss, but he left me his business card! I bet his parents are in a bin bag under a patio somewhere... I know mine would be!

My grandad is called mike hunt and he has a brother and sister who live in Ireland. There names are Isaac hunt and Regina hunt. Only the Irish would do that to their kids lol. I'm not having a dig at the Irish, my husband is from Dublin, but it is funny.

Even worse in Carmarthen in Wales the local Welsh word for friend is 'cont' and pronounced as if there was a U as the vowel. It causes some confusion I can tell you!

it is not a rude name ...it is tho on how you pronounce it such as saying it like Mick Hunt ...think about it!
