Try cosmetics, or herbicides. A colloidal suspension means the molecules suspended are clumped together to form colloids. One example of this is low fat milk. The blueish tinge seen is the light reflected off the fat molecules clumping together in the water of the milk.
You might find some info by looking up colloidal chemistry, physical chemistry, or formulations chemistry. Hope this helps.
