My wife hogs the duvet in bed by rolling herself in it and I find myself freezing in the middle of the night.When I try to pull it back she has this tendeancy to grip it even more even when she,s asleep. My friend says his wife does the same.

YES and he knows he is!!!
he buys me throws so i wont get cold and he hogs them too
and ive always got cold shoulders and a cold bum
he also hogs all of the bed! he waits until im asleep then makes his move then thats me squashed up against the wall

My boyfriend does that and he sleeps like a log so I can't get any back so I have a stash on my side of the bed! He's also a remote control hog and he falls asleep with the TV on and I wake up in the middle of the night and want to turn it of so I'm going "honey turn off the TV...... Please honey,,,,, Please!!" and he sleeps through it all so I reach for the remote and he is immediately awake snatching it back!!

Yes my boyfriend does that what you gotta do it pull it really hard and they fall out the bed
Then you get your covers back.

Aparantly i do the same thing too, what i suggest to you is, that you get in the bed first and wrap your self around it before she does. sorry but you have made me giggle!!
