Your question has answer itself. Meaning of Human Right from the American view is different from others. Really the American President, who ever comes to power are very much interested for the benefit of their nation and their people. No way it can be denied.
Their military is safe guarding the interest of their nation world wide. They have strong industrial development for that they need uninterrupted power. In the present situation they depend on Petrol, mostly available from Gulf Countries. If America fails to control the Gulf Country in one way or other, who knows Kamal Abdul Nasser or Sadam Hussain or Quadafi may raise from any Gulf country to defend their nation. It will reduce the industrial development of America and the people’s comfort.
America is supporting Isreal in all legal and illegal ways only to put check to Gulf Countries so that they will not leave from the American Control at any time. Even Some Kings are simply Puppet to America they least bother about their people and their wish. Otherwise they can not survey with their family in lavish way. I have mixed feelings about the Israeli government. I don't take any of the religious stuff into consideration because I don't believe that religion has a place in the geopolitical arena. We shouldn't operate as a theocracy because...well...that's not what we are. Anyways, I like having Israel as an ally, and I support their rights to exist and defend themselves against any nation that seeks to harm them. At the same time, I don't support some of their policies, especially their continued expansion of settlements that many experts believe are in violation of international law. I think the Israeli government could treat the Palestinian people better than they do. That said, part of me wishes that we would just stay out of that conflict entirely. After all, peace can never be achieved if either Israelis or Palestinians aren't willing to work for it.
