In the link, GM Millen says he'll never quit, and that the owners told him to keep doing his job. So it looks like you'll have Millen around for at least another year.

Do you admire his dedication to trying to turn the Lions around?
Just wish he'd give up?

Is there any chance he can rebuild this team?

Millon seems to be the cancer of that organization, however doomed that organization may be. the detrot lions are historically the worst and most losing team in NFL history, thus far. Recently, there was supposed to be a walk-out to protest Matt Millen, it was supposed to be basically 3/4 the crowrd of a game, but when the smoke cleared all in all about 50-100 people left and it looked more like a large bathroom break than a protest....when a team keeps losing and losing, you gotta start at at the top and work your way down..thats all you can do

I am not a Lions fan, although I feel bad for them. Can he turn the team around? Seriously this team has been screwed up since about the time Barry Sanders left. Not only that they HAD Willie Parker and then through a Clerical Error they CUT him. In the mean time the Steelers went out and signed him. At least that was the story they were giving in the one Steelers game. Imagine screwing up in cutting a undrafted Free Agent and getting names wrong with another undrafted Free Agent and so you lose a talent like Willie Parker. This is the type of things the team needs to fix. No the team wouldn't have likely been in the Playoffs just because they got him. The point though is you can't screw up and lose talent like that. I figure that falls partly on the GM, especially when they don't notice right away. That is the type of thing you should notice in a day or two.
