I agree that sounds indiscriminate.
On the other hand it is not like you are saying that you don't think you deserve it. Just for a different question.
One answer is that Yahoo! are a bit forgiving when it comes to bad language, we have the thumbs down and can post violation notices if we want something done, but chatting or chattiness is a big no-no. It might be a fine line but we are not drawing it, so tough.
Also, a violation notice, just one, is not the end of the world.

Tell me about it. I asked a question the other day as a joke and it got removed. All it said was Eurgh .. is that my goat? I'm starting to think sad lonely people like to complain about certain questions so yahoo has to remove them to keep everyone happy!

That's one of the ironies of yahoo Q&A. The more ofensive the question, the less it gets reported. Ask a decent question and they delete it immediately. It seems like the yahoo censors are as retarded as the people reporting the questions.
