My friend is very good at adding and everyone calls him geek, nerd, beaner, etc-- I think its unfair but it happens so often I dont know!

Definitely not. I love maths and am not considered a geek. Even if someone did I wouldnt care, do what you are good at I say. People are cruel to others who are different, whether good at Maths, obese, etc...just ignore them and be the best you can be.

"your friend" will end up with a great job that makes alot of money and the guys making fun of him will end up with a low paying job at minimum wage where the math geek is making the big money.
Let him know that he will be better off for the knowledge.

u know everyone in this world is so unic. maybe he just need to learn more about the society
because he just think the mathematic, u know usually everyone who good in the lesson is so weak in the society but it is just the universal statement. u can see isac newton, stephan hawwking and maybe galileo. he best in scien but so weak. especially isac newton stay calm in his house for 2 years, because he is weak and his frenz call him geek. and no one match for him expect one girl when he was in high school
but i think your fren can wake up from the geek situation, if he wanna try to be a fun one,
it is ok cause no one like u in this earth. dont make his weak, we need him maybe in technology, but he is not good in soceity. we have own life and own meaning

well I'm good at math and no one calls me nerd because it depends if you get 100's every time like the highest grade i ever got was a 88 but still that doesn't mean you're a nerd

I've been there myself. I spent my entire junior high and high school years being called all sorts of names. Your friend is getting called names because the others are jealous and insecure. The others think that picking at your friend will somehow make them (the others) feel better.
