Currently registered from Arizona, i will need a intermediate pipe and muffler, will i have trouble registering it here in So cali??? i'd like performance exhaust any ideas? (my first chevy truck ever) is a 4 B-carborator a okay idea ? my straight friends said to slap one on the 305...lol gracias 4 ur time people.

If you are wanting to register in California you sure as heck won't be able to do it with a 4 bbl carb on it! You HAVE to keep your TBI.
