Marjorie ("Midge") Osterlund Rendell is a federal judge in Pennsylvania. She was born into a well-to-do Roman Catholic family in Philadelphia.

She has been the First Lady of the state of Pennsylvania since January 21, 2003. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from Villanova Law School, she practiced as an attorney for twenty years as a partner in the Philadelphia firm of Duane, Morris & Heckscher.

In 1994 she was appointed by President Clinton to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 1997 she was once again nominated by President Clinton, this time for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit where she continues to serve as an appellate judge today. She is also a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania.

throughout your question, i was thinking you should get involved in the PA gov school during the summer, im thinking of doing the same (im a sophomore in pa) but if you can afford it, princeton's program is much better. my friend went to the gov school and had a good time, but she was not set on an ivy-league track. because youre GPA is not perfect but youre still quite smart, you might not be accepted into an ivy-league. try for swarthmore, its basically ivy league, ranked above harvard on the princeton review, and an amazing school. i have links with that college, if you need any help being admitted let me know. are you cute? (: no sorry, i dont do freshmen. but i love boys that are so interested in college at such a young age..! or try to aim for a college such as the george washington university- thats my new goal and id love to meet you hahah (:

You mean besides being Ed's wife? She is a lawyer and had been a judge before Ed became Governor. I think it depends about the gambling. They just approved casino gambling in the state, but you still can't use a bookie--legally.

Her qualifications are that she is married to "Fast Eddie," one of the slimiest politicians to come down the pike in the Keystone State. And if you think of it, with our track record of sending scumballs to Harrisburg, being in the Top 5 of the all-time PA Slime Hit Parade is quite an accomplishment...no, I am not a Republican, just disgusted with those ill-begotten, inbred specimens of backyard fungus that run this state.
