What break ? I unfortunately work in retail and managed to get christmas day off only ! Was hoping that there would be no sad people out shopping Boxing day but hey there they were queing 3 hours before the shops open. The government gave us those bank holidays for a day of rest so why don,t people just use them for that?If everyone took the stance that a holiday is just that then maybe the retailers wouldn,t have to open. The stocks still going to be there on the first day of trading. Also it would mean I could spend time with my children but I guess that previous governments relaxed trading laws to line the coffers of this country and are now complaining that we as families do not spend enough time together. Christmas is so special to us christians but we do not seem to be able to celebrate it no more with those who matter.Try imposing people to work in other countries where there are religious holidays and then see what the reaction is !

Very fed up - there are so many other things I would prefer to be doing. Spending time with family and friends, sales shopping, eating, drinking, sleeping, NOT WORKING! However, it's nearly the weekend so two more days off...

A bit sad, now all the festivities are over, but I think we all need to get back to normality as some point ! Roll on Easter and Summer Holidays !!

I'm not fed up. i was sad coming in yestoday but i got over it once i was at work. Plus i like my job and if you have good propects for 2007. it's all good. if your not happy in your job my best advice is find something you really like doing. there is nothing worse then being depressed because of work, as most of you life is spent there.. !
It'll get better..

To be honest, I was able to skive off and get away with it for a couple extra days, but tomorrow at latest, I must be back at it.
And with a house to clean, things to pack up, and oh dear, that lovely fake tree must come down.
As has been said, far too much one either needs to do, or wants to do.
