welll we do this at our office for christmas..its not about the decor or so its about gifts for valentines ok....
Take office staffs names on a sheet of people.(All from top-bottom) and write the names in the chits..do this about 3 days before valentines day and put the chits in the box and go around the office giving it out.....all people will get different names and thats there secret valentine...no1 sholud know who got whose names.....till valentines day the relevent person has to make there secret valentines pleased...maybe a letter on the table about they love working with you,a toffee box, anything they could be more polite to them.....but the person shouldnt know whose doing it for them...ITS A SECRET....then on valentines day morning the secret will be out at 11am(one time decided) and all wxchange gifts with thee relevent valentines...u may give ur named person-that person might have some1 elses name and all will enjoy and everyone will get a valentine and a gift for the day!
make sure no one gets absent or else one person might be left out even if they are present at offise but the partner has not come! That will be awful!

For your Valentine's Day party, decide on a theme and have the decorations, gifts, games, and costumes based on it. Just let loose all your funky ideas for this day. Games are also an essential ingredient of any party, and for your Valentine's Day party, have lots of games to add to the celebrations. Chin Balance, Things I Love, Candy Treasure, and Candy Quest are a few all-time favorite Valentine's Day games. Have these at your Valentine’s Day party and let the fun flow ! Music and dancing are synonymous with Valentine's Day parties. So take time to decide what kind of music you want at the party. If the guests are more willing to have some intimate moments with their partners, then keep some slow, soulful ballads playing for some close dancing. If the mood is more vibrant and young, it’s better to go for fast dance numbers. But make sure that the most of what you play are love songs, because it’s Valentine’s Day after all.

Do what we do where I work: We bring in cookies, cake etc. w/a Valentine's day theme-everybody brings something so we end up with some unique stuff. I hand-made a stupid/silly card for everyone and as far as decorations, we put up some of those lacy looking red, white and pink cut-out hearts-not alot as this is a business.

Well you might not find some staff members who are single, divorced, widowed, gay or socially excluded from the water-cooler particuarly enthusiastic at this idea.
