Yes it does and so needs to be washed very gently or even by hand. If using the machine I would use the most delicate cycle you have. Do not spin dry the garment too much in fact preferably drip dry on the line as if it gets too dry it is really hard to iron. Hope this is useful.

If you are refering to bed linen it would depend on the type and if you use hot or cold water. But sometimes yes it can when using hot water

Usually it shrinks the first time, even if you wash it on a cold wash. Or at least all mine did.....

Maybe it's my machine...

no iff you hand wash it ,and squeeze as much water out as possible put on a hanger, over your bath or shower,
