i have a real phobia of spiders i cant even get near enough to kill it even if i wanted to ..your answers though varied have at least put a smile back on my terrified face thank you all..ps i'd prefer a snake or reptile anyday over a spider

yes, that sounds like a horrible thing to have to endure, i used to be a fence builder and found about 20 spiders a day, and my flatmate was terrified of the little fellows, i used to leave them all over the house. pretty funny if you knew my flatmate. but yes tell your boss/teacher i said you can go home, if they dont go for it i will come and whisk you away to a spiderproof bunker

Yes you should. I'm not immature or naive or anything, it's just, why you have to kill it? why take away the life of a living thing? the spider just wants to go home and you go and kill it? I disagree with that. Each time I have to kill a bug, I ask to be forgiven. I may seem like a loser to you, but hey, they're living things too.

I say bring out the old spider hammer, that big old sledge hammer in the store room, that old spider will be history. The poor hammer, though, who would be the unfortunate to clean it? :)

Remember...if not for spiders, our planet would be infested with flying insects, which are much worse! If you hate them, just avoid them.
