Can someone please give me a good answer to why most of the good dreams we have always end before the best time comes. Most of the people I know have this aswell, their dreams are stopped (by alarm clocks, other people and just other external factors) right before they reach a critical moment in their dreams. Does it happen to anybody else here?

try thinking of it the reverse way: why WOULD dreams end at a point that makes sense?

dreams have no reason to "end" at a rational point because they are not rational in themselves. most psychologists believe dreams are the mind's way of sorting out "mental garbage" and cleaning itself out, or as an unconscious way to solve problems. I think that once you "know" in the dream that you're going to go off a cliff or whatever, then there's really no point for the mind to continue along that path-- you've already subconsciously predicted the occurence of the climax of the dream. in other words, the "garbage," or "problem," has already been addressed, even if it hasn't "finished" the way a logical story would.

does that make sense? i hope so, ha ha, dreams are very tricky and we still don't know everything.

it is the cosmos telling you to "wake up" and fulfill you dreams in the waking state, it "your fulfilled dream" will not be handed over to you while you sleep, you have to bring this dream (it does not necessarily have to be the same exact idea or thing that you are reaching for when you are not dreaming) into your waking life... it is a lesson. you may be striving for a goal in real life and the dream is a "kick off" for you to "run with." a starting point if you will, the dreamer must awaken, and make his own dreams come true.
it is a shove in the right direction, and our inner being telling us that we can accomplish this dream that we are wishing for if we take it step by step and follow through

Happens sometimes. I try to fall back asleep (thinking about the dream) in the hopes I will pick up where I left off.
That has worked once or twice too.

Yes, it happens to everyone. No one really knows why. But I'm not really interested in what dreams mean, I much prefer to focus on the real world instead.

yeah...it happens to me..i believe it happens to everyone who dreams and can recall in details when wakes up in the morning.

it ends without a proper ending..that's the dream...no dream will be a fantastic movie...dream is supposed to be an illusion in your mind and this illusion creates dream...and dream are always like that..no happy ending or conclusion...
