So-called terrorists have certain demands they want the USA to fullfill. Untill the demands are fullfilled there always will be terrorists in the Middle East. America has its own interests in the Middle East too. The name for those interests is OIL. Thats it. Probably only 5 years old cannot understand this. What make me sad is that they call it war for a democracy. Please those who do not agree with me explain me why

Your assessment is flawed. I do agree with you that the primary interest in the Middle East for the United States is oil, but to state that if we just appease terrorist demands the problems in the world will end denies certain basic realities. The ultimate goal of Islamic fanaticism is rooted in a religious cause. Stating that all the problems are the making of United States is not correct and does not explain attacks by terrorists against other countries. Further it a fantasy to believe that we cannot attempt to promote democracy in the Middle East just because oil is an underlying cause. The goal is not to control the oil, but rather to ensure the free flow. If fanatical governments are replaced with more moderate Democratic alternatives these interests will be served.

Please. Oil is not a reason as to why there is war in the Middle East. Religious conflicts, land disputes, and centuries old arguments are reasons for chaos in the Middle East, not oil.

But on the contrary, oil is a vital part of the US economy and life style. I could foresee in the future, 20-30 years from now that there could be war for oil, but that is not what we are fighting for now. People don't realize that if foreign oil was cut off the US would fall into a massive depression within a week. More than half the country would be without power, there would be little heating, and transportation would grind to a halt. It would be chaos. Like it or not The US needs oil to survive, luckily for now we are on good terms with most oil producing nations.

Lion you are misguided and deluded. There have been wars in the middle east since time began. To the Crusades etc, etc. Those wars were not fought over oil. No one even knew about the sticky black substance then.

So I think you need to go back to school and do some more studying before you try to spout anymore foolish questions, showing how much you don't know.

Well, that's certainly a very basic and simple reason, although ti's far from the only one. It's sort of the same way that the mildly educated believe that abolition of slavery was the only reason the American Civil War was fought.

The issue is far more complex, but it's easier tojust slap a big label on it and walk away. It doesn't take any effort.

Yes, oil is a strong motivator for conflict in the Middle East. But to say it's the only motivator is misguided.

Well I wish we would hurry up and take that oil so I can have 10 cent a gallon gas for my 4X4. And then we could go home and all those poor misunderstood terrorists could go back to their tents and we would all be happy for evermore! Do you watch the Disney Channel to get your news, or Al-Jezzera? Or are they the same thing?

1-israel and its plans to invade Arab lands from Ufrait river in Iraq to the Nile in Egypt, and america is helping them to achieve this target or in other words israel is USING america to achieve this target.
