Not everyone was born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Some people actually have to work for a living, what's wrong with a little help along the way? I don't understand why anyone would be against it?!

People are more against it when the affordable housing is to be built in their neighborhood. (It might cut into their property value)
Or when they think taxes might be increased in order to pay for it. (Taxes will take away the oil companies profit margins and my stocks might fall)
Or when they're not sure who might end up living there (I don't approve of welfare system "abusers" or behavior that doesn't fit into my moral code)
In other words, right wing Republicans! haha
