If you're based in the UK, the best bet is a medium from the following list;

All these mediums have undergone assessments to determine their authenticity and professionalism.
And remember you are also protected under the Fraudalant Mediums Act 1951 (assuming you are in the UK)

Just to support Bella really. No, not all mediums are fakes, though some certainly are. Your local spiritualist church will be able to put you in touch with someone.

you could do a bit of background research into them and any associations they are a member of or go and ask at your local spiritualist church for a couple of mediums they use. Failing all that I know a great lady in Sandersted , Surrey (see her myself). I'm psychic but don't do mediumship
