I know that every movie these days show violence most of the time but in my opinion Quentin Tarantino's movies show gruesome violence (eg:Hostel). I like his movies and i really enjoy them but i want to know why he is using only violence as his theme....????

Because he had a violent birth. Did you ever see the shape of his head?

Since most of the movies glorifies violence so that we think it is 'cool' to kill people and many people do just that after seeing these movies.
Tarantino on the other hand shows violence as it is and removes anything 'cool' from it. Violence is indeed gruesome as you can see in his movie 'Reservoir Dogs' where a person's ear is cut with a blade in the most disgusting manner.
These movies tell people how bad violence is in reality.

I think he would argue with you that it's his only theme, sure there is alot of violence but it's appealing, some of my favourite films are from Tarintino and as for Hostel i agree with you that it was trying to break a few barriers in terms of violence and gore but Tarintino didn't have anything to do with the making of it he just came to an agreement with the film company to get some of the film's revenue if he put his name to it. Maybe he doesn't want to pick another genre, maybe he's happy.

First of all he only produced Hostel, he did not write it nor did he direct it. Although the films he has directed (Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction) are no slouch on the violence. It's just something that makes for entertainment

He had a thing for 70's movies horror ,karate, comedy, big bad mama, shaft , blacula hammer films stuff like that .
his films even have that bright Technicolor kind of glow like
Tim Burton's pee wee Herman movie. and the black narcissus
In kill bill interviews he talks about this very question.
But not what was in the suit case (pulp fiction)

Some people have no imagination as far as a storyline so they resort to tons of violence because it sells.
