Generally I thought the film lacked a lot, especially compared to X2. Why didn't anyone go, "well lets just put this kid who stops the mutants having power next to Jean?" so simple.

However I did like how you're left wondering whether Magneto gets his powers back, and if they do make another one I hope Mystic kicks his ***!

I didn't. It left me no closure, and a sense of wanting something...more. I mean, the beginning was so confusing, I saw what happened to Scott, but I wasn't assured that he was dead until more than halfway into the movie. I didn't expect a very happy ending, but I did expect a little more respect to be given to the characters. The way Scott was killed was just odd and bizarre. Perhaps he was killed off early into the movie because he had to go and work on Superman Returns as well. (Another Bryan Singer movie.)

I did. I cried when Jean died.

I didn't like the cliffhanger with Magneto and Xavier, but that was to be expected. I also don't like the fact that the next movie is going to be about Wolverine and how he became a mutant and probably won't even touch on the return of Prof. X or whether Magneto will get his powers back...we probably won't know what happens with them for years! Grr.

it sucked don't you think, honestly Jean should of put of more of a fight, and if she was a level 5 don't you think it would of been a lil bit harder to kill her since her powers are almost limitless don't you think that she could heal herself or something, so the movie just don't add up.
