there are 92 clubs in the 4 major league which are FA Premier League teams 20, Football League Championship teams 24 ,
Football League Championship league 1 teams 24, Football League Championship league 2 teams 24. and then the Football Conference has 68 teams

It depends on what level of football club you are talking about. If you mean in the four national leagues (Premiership, Championship, League One & League Two) then there are 92. However if you're counting all the non-league football clubs, then there are hundreds. You would probably have to contact the Football Association for that kind of information.

20 in Premiership and 24 in Championship, Div 1 and Div 2 aand as stated before thousands if not a million including Sunday league teams etc. Even the FA probably don't know the total of all clubs cos some will not be affiliated. Hope this is enough for you

Conference South: 22 (80% full time professional)
Conference North: 22 ( 80% full time professional)
Isthmian League: 22 (all semi professional)
Southern League: 22 (all semi professional)
Northern League: 22 (all semi professional)

Of all the clubs in the football league and the premiership, they all play in England with the exception of Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham, and of course Berwick Rangers are in England but play in the Scottish Leagues.
