john mayer maybe, he needs to capitalize on his talent and stop putting out so many pop hits. outkast i think is ahead of its time. Coheed and cambria is severley underrated, i don't think people have truly appreciated their ability to write so many musical parts to individual songs, most people can't get over the rush-like voice. whoever writes gwen stefani's stuff is ahead of their time, some of that stuff is out there, but they have a unique ability to pull it together.
