depends on where you are coming from to end up in gozo. I live in Malta now and I love to visit gozo, however once there you are really isolated (especially in winter in bad weather) its nice at first but gets frustrating. Unless you are quite well off and can afford to leave often I would become claustrophobic after a while. Think it through completely (come for a trial stay) before making any major changes.

You might find yourself feeling a bit isolated there.
I think you just need to spend less time in the office and more time with your friends. Unless you know lots of people in Gozo, it won't help. You can always try moving your abode a bit further out of your current city. If that's Valletta, then your rat race can't be that tough.

yer I love Gozo Ill come wih you . its a bit quiet . but well liven them up , the Maltese are the nicest people I know good luck
