a) Everyone texting and ringing everyone else wishing them a Happy New Year has overloaded the networks - wait a couple of days.
b) Perhaps a transmitter has gone down in your area - ring Customer Services to see if they have any news.

The system gets pretty heavily loaded during the holidays, and we have been having some funny weather which may have had an effect. Maybe the strong winds have taken out a transmitter.
