Not at all. I think that a foreign power executing the leader of a country breeds more terrorism, not less. What it looks like is that Americans invaded, had a sham trial and then executed the leader of an independent country, plunging the country into civil war in the process. With 30,000 or more civilian dead, and allegations of war atrocities like Haditha and the rape and murder of a 14 year old girl and her entire family, I don't see terrorism waning in the slightest. We are simply priming the next generation of terrorists, who have nothing left to loose.

Not at all. Because right after the execution there was a bomb blast killed almost 31 people and so many injured. Terrorism is not in one hand captured. There are many for many things. But dont believe the say of US it will eliminate the terrorism. The present situation is the people of US and Europes are under fear of their life working in other than Us and Europe. It is really obvious thing happening now...

Saddam may have been a cruel dictator and was involved in some gruesome killings . But so have been a no of dictators in other parts of the world . It does not however establish that he supported terrorism or that his establishment had terrorist links . So it is not clear if his execution would help in lowering World Terrorism !!!

no, stupid extremist groups will now get angry over there and drive cars into the building that saddam was killed in, but why? statistics show that nearly every family living in Bagdad has had a funeral as a result of saddam and his supporters, do these people not see that this is wrong? if anyone attacks that building they should be hung too because the world can do without people like them.
