The Elephant guy is an extremely good action picture even yet it somewhat is now no longer a daunting action picture. it somewhat is predicated on the life of John Merrick who suffered from actual deformities. Scariest movies... Friday the thirteenth infant's Play The Shining Psycho (now no longer the remake) Wolf Creek Hostel The Orphanage the ring Amityville Horror The Omen (the older version) Interview with the Vampire

i love psychological thrillers!! the best i've seen lately: Saw I, Saw II, Saw III, Se7en, Hide and Seek, Taking Lives... The best "scary movie" i've seen in a while is Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The House of Wax. (but i'm partial because i love those types of movies: thriller/horror- they are all i watch and i could continue naming them for a long while, but i would run out of character space lol)

It's an older move, from the 70s, but "Don't Look Now" with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie is one of the best.
I remember seeing a trailer for it and being blown away with the suspence and I figured the movie couldn't be that good. But the movie was even better.

The 1997 low budget film CUBE.
It's got Fear, Paranoia, Suspicion and Desperation without turning to gore as an audience grabber.
