Thats a good question. In addition I'd also like to know why the US felt that he was a respected ally for so long, sold him weapons, and funded him and his regime with millions of dollars to back his war effort against Iran. Truly, its a screwed up world.

Saddam was a bad guy but he was hardly the tyrant of the 20th century. He was a failed dictator. He was a joke and a softy by tyrant standards when it comes to guys like Hitler, Stalin, and Japans leaders during WW2.

just compare with Kurdistan also a terrorist bombing arond Turkey a few years ago.

Israel bombing and killing Palestineans and Lebanon but no complaining or action done.

USA bombing and invading Afghan and Iraq also no complaining and no action.

Why must all double standard must be stand for since more people around the suffer more compare to USA and Israel people did?

The USA people want to promoting Saddam as an evil but they also forget the world sees them as more evil than Saddam ( since Saddam already dead, so whose next? )

Because it doesnt mean that if saddam is guilty, US government is free of guilt..Cos Biochemical weapons and bombs from US airplanes doesnt make any difference. Thus, car bombs from terrorists and missiles from the US army, similarly, killed innocents. It takes one to know the other, maybe this is y US citizens are confused, cos they were brainwashed by the real enemy, residing in the white house. US government created terror and enemies that politicians uses as tools to manipulate the citizens and tax them to fund their political aims. eg, selling biochemical weapons to middle east. Thus the real tyrant is the one responsible for providing the weapons that created the war. Say, u have a nice kid, u hand him a book and give him education, he will prosper. Say, hand him a hunting knife n a shotgun, he would grow up to be a crappy kid..What i believe is that Bush should be spanked, and put on the electric chair.

Saddam always had a lot of sympathy in the Arab world because of his anti Israel propaganda..to them he was a knight in armor who would come and unite Arab nations...the truth is the Arabs couldn't care less what Saddam did with his own people because most of their leaders are tyrants..they had a common enemy and that's all that mattered!

Saddam is dead and imo justly so. Some people feel the judicial process was biased but that is the biggest arguement I hear.

Compared to other leaders the few thousand people he killed is nothing compared to the millions killed by others .
That is why many people believe the war is only for oil .

Yeah, Iraq was more stable when Saddam was in power... by killing his opposition! These Socialists are either brain dead or trying to destroy America. They oppose democracy. It's not a good idea unless a Democrate thinks of it.

It has nothing to do with sympathy for Saddam and everything to do with them showing how witty they think they are by constantly bashing the President. They're just imbeciles.
