What do you think about the Nobel Prize?

Sweden is supposed to be one of the big weapon seller,to have spayed the members of some ethnic groups within the country ,to have provoked some African tribes to attack each other so that ıt could go on selling them weapons.Although Alfred Nobel was a big weapon producer and dealer,prizes are given out for the sake of PEACE and literature.
Yet, ıt claims to be the most peace-loving country.

Well, the literature prize winner Mr. Pamuk is also such a peace breaker in his country. He talked a load about the so called armenian genocide in his country, disregarding the facts proven by some "real" official papers/books/history records etc. He is absolutely being supported by many people who are willing to sprinkle seeds of hostility over turkish lands.. above all, he lives in the states, "away" from his much beloved country. I've read a lot about him and his nonsense, so I can only talk about the literature prize. And I totally agree with you: The most peace loving country backs someone who is an enemy to his own people.. Wierd, i know.
