i would suggest to use soft cloth or you can use the nappies which you get in the shop they are cotton, but outside it is plastic, and if you really want to use the nappies diapers than go for pampers or any one will do... apply a thick coat of diaper rash cream before putting the pamper and than it will be fine

I have a 21 month old son & a 4 month old daughter.
until my daughter was born I really only used Huggies which I found to be great and they are always on offer in Boots & Sainsburys.
Once my daughter was born & I was having to buy nappies for them both, I started trying "own" brands e.g. Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys,Boots etc. and I have to say I have not had any problems with any of them. I would recommend all of them and they are all cheaper than Huggies & Pampers even if they are on special offer e.g Huggies Size 4+ were £16 for two packs of 58 in Sainsburys yesterday, but I bought 2 packs of 58 Sainsburys own size 4+ for £13.94.

We use Tescos own brand. They are far better than Sainsburys or Asda (both of which I hated) in terms of supermarket brands. I don't like Pampers either - I find Tescos are more absorbent than them as well! Huggies are ok, about equal to Tesco but obviously more expensive so I don't see the point unless there is no alternative.

My partner thinks that pampers fit better for boys and huggies for girls which makes no sense to me at all. We use huggies for our girl and they are great. Having said that the nursery that she goes to uses unbranded nappies and they are great too.

For a blokes persective, it doesn't matter which nappy you choose, it just provides a bigger challenge to do a pooh big enough to makes it leak everywhere. Ewwww. Good luck.

I use snugglers during the day, and huggies at night once they start sleeping through, as well as when we go out. Snugglers can be bought in bulk and are really cheap yet good quality. Huggies are more expensive yet the best. Thats why they are great for night time and if you go out. Snugglers are great (and inexpensive) for 24/7 use while baby still wakes 4 hourly for feeds.

Huggies all the way. two young children in nappies still and they are the best for those long night sleeps.

Tesco's own brand ( in the purple pack). They are the best nappies I have used, and the price is good too.

Tescos were ok too but not used in ages

Pampers and Huggies.

Pampers are good - they donate money from every pack bought to help pay for vaccinations for children in the third world.

Huggies are nice and soft.
