you can't without a router, you will have to buy a router which will plug into your broadband/cable connection and allow you to then plug in several different machines into the same connection.

Try ring NTL and see if they will give you one or at least do you a discounted deal on one, a lot of isp's will try and keep customers so always worth a try.

simple answer is connect your computer to the USB port on the modem/router and the ps2 to the ethernet port on the router.

alternatively you can connect the computer to the USB on your router/modem and the ps2 to the ethernet on your computer and set the internet connection sharing on for the USB intenet connection.

either way is pretty easy to do.

if however i am mis-reading yout hardware and you only have a modem and not a router then you will need to buy a router. then connect your computer and ps2 to the router and then connect the router to the modem.

so easy a child of three could do it.

Your going to want to connect directly to your modem for gaming! The best way is to buy a wired router and split up the connection.

router
or another alternative is to put in a hub/switch to share the netwrok connection.
given the cost of a router compared to a switch go the router route its may be margianlly more expensive but you are doing soemthing that should be easier to set up.
