No it is not pathetic. I have a drivers license but I am not a doctor. Is that pathetic?

No! I am 33, have 4 kids and NO LICENSE! I walk where I have to go; to work, grocery store. I am in great shape. I also choose not to drive. There is no need to drive when what I need is so close. But, we drive when we go out of town, of course!
*The ex-husband drives! I can out-walk him any distance!
GO! Try not to be embarrassed! You are not pathetic, you are just helping to protect the ozone! And we thank you!

Not if you live in an urban area where there are busses and subways and trains. When I lived in Boston none of my friends (all in their 20s) had cars.

no. my mother is 55 with no dr license. if you don't have a car and don't need to drive, then it really isn't a priority. just get one when you're ready.
