No it is not pathetic. I have a drivers license but I am not a doctor. Is that pathetic?

No! I am 33, have 4 kids and NO LICENSE! I walk where I have to go; to work, grocery store. I am in great shape. I also choose not to drive. There is no need to drive when what I need is so close. But, we drive when we go out of town, of course!

*The ex-husband drives! I can out-walk him any distance!
GO! Try not to be embarrassed! You are not pathetic, you are just helping to protect the ozone! And we thank you!
:o)

Not if you live in an urban area where there are busses and subways and trains. When I lived in Boston none of my friends (all in their 20s) had cars.

no. my mother is 55 with no dr license. if you don't have a car and don't need to drive, then it really isn't a priority. just get one when you're ready.
