Filipinos pretty much wore what was in fashion in the states from the 1940's onwards. I base this statement on the outfits I have seen in the black and white movies from the 40's, 50's and till present time.
The post WWII suits on men and women, jeans, balloon skirts and saddle shoes during the fifties and today's designer creations from Europe and the States.

There was a student who made a thesis about Filipino fashion and if I can recall... he included info's like that. You can check out some theses at the College of Fine Arts library at UP Diliman if you got the chance. There might be something there to help you out. Sorry if I wasn't much of a help.. Best of luck!
