Honestly, The whole issue of sex is someting to take very seriously.me personally I wish I would have waited to have sex. It is not something that really is worth jumping into. You can say that it really does not matter as long as you don't get someone pregnant or catch an std or sti. It's more of the fact that when you give something as precious as your virginity up you don't want to look back and regret it. Just because your little hormones was jumping one night. that one night can end up with a life time responsibility or a lifetime sickness. not every std is through sexual contact their are ones you can get by kissing or sharing needles or cuts. But thats getting off of the subject. What are you going to do when you meet the one that you truly are in love with and you keep thinking back to your 1st and how they started to react to you after having sex. How would you feel giving them a special part of you that you can never get back EVER once it's gone it's gone it's not like a old pair of jeans you can't piece it back together.
Your virginity is something very precious and from one to another think about it carefully because I've been where you think your about to go and it ain't all that. It's not worth it all for a couple minutes of pleasure. then When you finally fall in love you regret it.
THINK ABOUT IT KIDDO. I'm 20 and telling you this and probably know alot more people around your age who can tell you from their own mouths about it and how they feel. Everything that glitters is not gold and now days there is alot of fools gold running around.

Yep, I am now pushing 40 years old and let me tell you I have 6, thats right 6 children that start at the age of 25 years old and go down to 16 years old. Love them all for sure and they are all great teens with good goals, but I just now am getting to know who I am, because at the time when most people figure that out, all I cared about was feedings, diapers, bills and which babies daddy owed me child support to pay for the food the kids needed. If I had a mom and dad who cared about and set boundries for me, I may not have the opportunity to go out and get pregnant as young as I did. Remeber one thing. If you wait to have sex when older and you fall in love with the most amazing person ever, when you finally do have sex with that person. He or she will be the best sex you ever had. How is that for building a relationship that is always hot and loving.

YES I do regret it, not because of the fact of being "pure" or anything it is just that I lost my virginity at the age of 13 and I was just starting my teen years at full speed with being rebellious and daring until I got pregnant at the age of 14, now I'm 15 with an 8 month old I love dearly but wish I would have waited to have him when I am much older so now I will finish my teen years, not partying, not hanging with my friends, but being a mom. Please...girls out there,,,,take this advice,,,wait!!! It's not worth the risk.

YES! So much! The guy I lost my virginity to still denies it to this day. He was 18 I was 16. It was all downhill from there. A lot of bad choices and then I had a baby at 19. My life has gotten better now, but yes, I do regret starting so young.
They say your common sense ability is the very last thing to develop and that happens in your very late teens, early 20s. Being 25 now, I can honestly say there are things I've done where I think, "What the heck was I thinking?" The truth is, I wasn't thinking at all. I thought I had the world figured out as a teen and it wasn't until my 20s that I have figured out that I didn't know a thing.

No, I do not regret having sex as a teenager. For me, it was a choice I made. I made a choice, a decision where I wanted to be sexually active and I was ready. No, I didn't sleep around and become a hoe, I just kept my business to myself and no one really knew about it. I think the reason I may have started earlier was because of curiosity, and I wanted to know how I would feel. I do not know if I wished I would have waited, my thing is I try not to worry about the past and the possibilities of it affecting my future. It really depends on the person, if they are responsible, and are willing to make crucial decisions to keep their self and the other person safe.

Yes...I regret it deeply.
I was fourteen, thought i was in love, and the second it happened I realized how stupid it was.
Even worse was the guy I thought I was in love with three years later. Same thing, only i was stuck in a relationship with him for two years. Wasted time of my life...I was happy the whole time, but when I got older I realized what a crock..it was all lust.
Now I'm happily married and wished I had waited for my husband. There are so many issues that wouldn't exist if I had...

I regret the age at which I first had sex. I was 15 and much too young to handle all of the emotions that accompany a sexual relationship. I have had limited partners, but did a lot of fooling around. I regret that, too. Yes, I regret having sex as a YOUNG teen.

I haven't lost my virginty yet. But i'm 17, and if it happens, it happens, and i'm sure that i won't regret it.. In reading the answers to this question, i've realized that most 17-18 yr olds don't regret it.. I also think that it is good to SAFELY experiment in your teens... not necessarily 13-16.... we'll say LATE teens, I feel this way because recently my dad (Who was 21 when he lost his virginty to my mom who was 18, she was also a virgin) has started having thoughts about other women.. He feels that my mom should let him experiment because he never got to as a teen... So, i am not saying "Everyone should lose their virginity when they are teens" but I am saying that you should think about "what if i regret NOT having sex as a teen?" either way, you can't go back..... PEACE!

I waited until I was 19 but it was so hard to wait! I'm glad I waited but I remember it was really tough, fighting hormones all the time. I lost virginity to my future husband and we got married about a year later, so it's all good. We still are happily married 7 yrs later, and he tells his coworkers all the time that I'm the best woman in the world. No regrets here.

I don't know about having sex as a teen, but I wish I would have waited a few more years. I had sex, for the first time, when I was 16. I got married when I was 19. Sex with my husband is awesome. Sex when I was so young was really kind of stupid. I'm still not sure WHY I did it. I wasn't enjoying myself. Then again, I was just some dumb kid, maybe I didn't know I wasn't having any fun!?
