No, that was the bum on 5th and Main. I gave him $2 and a McDonalds cheeseburger.

I love conspiracies so what I think is that it was, indeed, Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti who was executed. However, I wonder if a Saddam double may have taken over as Saddam 20 or so years ago because of health problems or some other reason. Therefore, even though the real Saddam was executed, it was not Saddam, the dictator.
There has been a lot of doubt that the man captured in the "spider hole" was Saddam primarily because of his teeth--Saddam had beautiful straight white teeth and this man did not--and his voice. People in Iraq also claimed he did not sound like Saddam. Something I noticed was that when the photos of Saddam in his underwear were released, the pattern of his chest hair was different than it was in a picture of him on a beach with one of his daughters when he was a much younger man.
Regardless of who was hanged, the manner in which he was hanged has made Saddam a martyr.

I have a doubt, is this question from real neda f or some duplicate?
By the by many americans think saddam an enemy of USA. For your information saddam has never hit USA or abducted any americans or give support or help to any terrorists.
It was easy for bush to kill him along with many americans soldiers. The very purpose of invading iraq was defeated by hanging saddam.
Now will the USA has any guts to invade the following countries and bring democracy.
1) Saudi Arabia 2) Myanmar or in USA's Book Burma,
These two are more than terrorists and WMD's they are threat to world peace and still practicse Barberic methods.
Hellow bush & Tony would you send your troops there and hang the burmese mitiary junta?
You do not need any proof, A hurdle to Justice anywhere is injustice everywhere.
Where are you neda.F?

No, the real Saddam is now safe on the moon.
In answer to the poster who called Saddam a 'coward', I wonder how someone can be so out of touch with reality as to make such an inane comment.
You can accuse Saddam of a lot, but cowardice is not one of them. He met his death bravely and with dignity.
When you see translations of what is actually said at the execution, his demeanour is even more impressive. Rather than 'swapping insults' with his executioners he rebukes them for their behaviour.
The video is ample evidence that if we want to remove the influence of our enemies, then killing them is not the answer.

While Saddam being executed is historic there are still things that the US didn't realize he was keeping his thumb on. Iran for example. He even called them blood thirsty Persians. History buff will know the reference. However I have seen the full video, and that was Saddam, the Iragi people were too angry not to truly put him down. The US under its current leaderhip too stupid to have rescued him.

Yeah I too have the doubts....because Bush and Blair will never easily let go of Saddam as they want to blackmail or grill him until he releases his oil rich country to the demons that are Bush and the devil Blair....

You are right. He did not get hung. I saw the true video. That was a long rope and when the trap tripped he fell on a camel's back, threw off the rope and went riding off into the sunrise yelling "Yee Haa, geddi up Clyde, we are going to America where Bush will protect me."
How ignorant can you people be?

Ah problem with your theory Saddam chose to not have the "traditional bag" over his head they normally use in hangings. So sorry, but it was really him you can't mistake his looks.
